(\u201cCJQSR\u201d), a licensee of Carl\u2019s Jr. restaurants in Australia, has entered voluntary administration.<\/strong><\/p>\n CJQSR independently owns and operates 24 Carl\u2019s Jr. restaurants and serves as master licensee to 25 restaurants independently owned and operated by third party sub-licensees.<\/p>\n CKE is working closely with the Administrator, CJQSR, and other interested parties to work through the process with the goal of minimizing the impact to employees, consumers and the brand throughout Australia.\u00a0 CKE is working with the Administrator to transition the 25 sublicensed restaurants to a direct licensed relationship and anticipates little to no change in the continued operation of these locations.\u00a0Each of those 25 sublicensed restaurants remain open.<\/p>\n Voluntary Administrators David Hardy, George Georges and Emily Seeckts with KPMG are now in control of CJ\u2019s QSR Group and will work through the process in accordance with the Corporations Act.<\/p>\n CKE remains committed to its international growth plan, expanding in key markets around the world.
